Description d’emploi: Offer DescriptionYou want to participate in a research project on avian influenza?Join the Université de Bordeaux’s Microbiologie Fondamentale et Pathogénicité ( )!The objective of the MFP unit is to improve understanding of host-pathogen interactions related to disease replication and development, from molecular interactions to epidemiology and the development of antimicrobial approaches. The MFP currently consists of nine groups working in virology, bacteriology, parasitology and mycology.Within the framework of the regional research programmes (PSGAR), we are recruiting a post-doctoral researcher in virology.The main objective of the project will be to develop a cellular model for studying and inhibiting avian influenza virus replication.This position is part of a project term, linked to the achievement of qualitative and quantitative results.Main activities:Scientific context: Carried out within the Andevir team of the MFP and BR laboratory of the CRCTB, this study consists in the implementation of a cellular model of the replication of the avian influenza virus.Your main mission will be to develop the infection and follow-up of avian influenza virus replication and the evaluation of the antiviral effect of molecules in 2D and 3D cellular models in level 3 contained environments.# Manipulations and research

• You determine, develop and adapt biological sample preparation and analysis protocols
• You conduct, by adapting experimental conditions, a set of techniques: cultures, biological or biochemical assays; cloning, sequencing, PCR, microscopy, cytometry
• You collect and format the results of experiments, present the results of analyses, ensure their follow-up and quality
• You write reports of experiments or studies, technical notes

# Communication and project enhancement

• You train, internally and externally, in the principles and implementation of techniques of biology experimentation
• You ensure the application of health and safety principles and rules, apply the regulations of the field of study
• You ensure scientific and technological oversight
• You participate in the dissemination and exploitation of results through oral presentations and publications
